Country’s popular singer Kumar Bishwajit has been away from singing for a long time. He took a break from singing after his only son Nibir was seriously injured in a road accident a couple of years ago. He has been staying in Canada with his wife for two years.
But with the continuous efforts of doctors, Nibir’s condition is now better than before. So, Kumar Bishwjit has decided that he will return to stage shows this time. A musician’s greatest joy, his favorite place is the stage. An artiste loves standing on stage and listening to the audience. Kumar Bishwajit is returning to stage shows to get that love.
The singer is returning to stage shows by performing in Melbourne, Australia on 23 August. Kumar Biswajit confirmed that he will perform in five more states in Australia on 24, 30 August and 6 and 7 September.
Talking to media Kumar Biswajit said, “To be honest, since my son Nibir was in an accident, the love and prayers I have received for my son from the Bangladeshi expatriates living all over the world are truly indescribable. They have been constantly looking for my son through various means. I’m truly impressed by the love they have shown for my son. So, to express my gratitude to those people, to express my love, I’m appearing in front of them again with songs. My sincere gratitude to those who are giving me the opportunity to do five shows in a row in Australia.”
“The audience is also a part of my family. I have shared happiness and sorrow with them through songs and melodies for more than four decades. I’m also far from that family. I thought about it, I should sing for the audience”, the singer added.
It may be mentioned that, Kumar Bishwajit’s only son Nibir was seriously injured in a serious accident in Canada. Since then, he has been undergoing treatment in a Canadian hospital. For the two past year, he has been intensively treated at a rehab centre in Mississauga, Canada.
