The band Dalchhut's second album ‘Hridaypur’ released in 2000 featured several songs that found a place in listeners’ hearts. Tracks like Gari Chole Na, Tomakei Bole Debo, and Brishti Pore still resonate deeply with today’s audience. Now, 25 years later, Bappa Mazumder has reintroduced ‘Brishti Pore’ in a brand-new arrangement.
Bappa released the revamped version of the song along with a video on his YouTube channel on Tuesday night.
The lyrics were written by Sheikh Rana, and the original tune was composed by Bappa himself. The new version features not only a rearranged musical composition but also something particularly special: the video.
That’s because it was created using artificial intelligence (AI), crafted by Ahad Antor.
Speaking about the song, Bappa said,
"Monsoon is my favorite season. I chose to release this song at the very end of the rainy season. It's an attempt at a different kind of concept. Please don’t compare it to the original version. And for those who don’t like this version—well, the original is always there."
Bappa has also introduced slight variations in the melody in this version. As a result, some listeners still prefer the original. However, many feel that the new version is also quite well done.
In recent times, many artists have been using AI to avoid the high costs of music video production. Bappa had previously used AI for the video of his song Agamikal, which was released in June.
