The film “Ali,” directed by Biplob Hayder, is set to hit theaters nationwide tomorrow. It tells a remarkable story centered on the touching relationship between a brother and sister, highlighting the harsh realities of society and the theme of personal sacrifice.
Irfan Sajjad plays the titular character, Ali, a speech-impaired young man, while Melita Mehjabin Arpa portrays his sister, Roshni. The spiritual bond between these two siblings is sure to resonate deeply with the audience. A single tragic accident dramatically alters their lives, serving as a pivotal point in the story.
While “Ali” marks Melita’s debut in a lead role as an adult, her acting journey began at a young age. She first appeared at just three years old in the drama “Chayabritta,” followed by her first drama series, “Bindu Bisharga,” directed by Animesh Aich.
Biplob Hayder, the director, emphasises that “Ali” is more than just a film; it’s a poignant narrative about emotions, reality, and the fight to maintain a family unit. He believes it will truly touch the hearts of viewers.”
