Four Hollywood films, “M3GAN 2.0”, “F1: The Movie”, “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Final Destination: Bloodlines” were released simultaneously at Star Cineplex on Friday.
The much-talked-about horror sequel “M3GAN 2.0” and “F1: The Movie”, a film based on the Formula One World Championship, have been premiered. Meanwhile, the live-action remake of the popular animated franchise “How to Train Your Dragon”, released internationally on 13 June, has already received a strong response in theatres across the United States and the United Kingdom. Among this year’s releases, it currently ranks fourth in terms of box office earnings.
Additionally, after a decade-long wait, a new instalment of the “Final Destination” franchise, titled “Final Destination: Bloodlines”, hit the screens last May. It, too, has succeeded in meeting audience expectations.
All four films, which have been highly anticipated, are expected to receive a warm response from Bangladeshi audience.
Directed by Gerard Johnstone, “M3GAN 2.0” is a techno-thriller that blends science fiction, horror, action, and social commentary.
Joseph Kosinski-directed “F1” brings Brad Pitt back into the global cinematic spotlight. Alongside Pitt, the cast includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Kaley Cuoco, and others.
Directed by original co-creator Dean DeBlois, “How to Train Your Dragon”, features Mason Thames as Hiccup and Nico Parker as Astrid.
On the other hand, “Final Destination Bloodlines” is a 2025 American supernatural horror film directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein from a screenplay by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, based on a story by Jon Watts, Busick, and Evans Taylor.
The sixth installment in the Final Destination film series, it stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana as a college student who inherits visions of a previous premonition that averted a deadly structural failure in 1969 from her dying grandmother and is warned that Death is coming for her family. Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd appear in supporting roles.
