The film ‘Banalata Sen’, starring Masuma Rahman Nabila, is set to hit theaters in September, according to director Masud Hasan Ujjal, who shared the update with the media.
The director informed the shooting, dubbing, editing, colour grading, and background music work of the film have already been completed. “Banalata Sen” will be submitted to the certification board soon. According to the plan so far, he wants to release the film next September. Preparations are being made accordingly.
This is Masud Hasan Ujjal’s second film.
Nabila plays the central character in the film. However, she was initially offered another character. This is the fourth film of presenter Nabila.
She last acted opposite Shakib Khan in the film “Toofan”. The film, which was released in 2024, was a hit.
About the movie ‘Banalata Sen’, earlier Nabila said, “I don’t work much. Actually, I usually busy with presenting. However, in the meantime, I have completed shooting for a film titled ‘Banalata Sen’. It is one of my favourite works. As far as I know, the film will be released in this year. So I’m waiting for ‘Banalata Sen’.”
The shooting of the government-granted film began in early 2023.
Nabila came into the spotlight by acting in the film “Aynabaji” in 2016. She acted opposite Chanchal Chowdhury in the movie. Her second film was “1975: An Untold Story”. The actor was last seen in the film “Toofan” directed by Raihan Rafi.
