Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s much-anticipated dream home, the iconic Krishna Raj bungalow in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill is finally ready after years of meticulous planning and construction.
The luxurious six-storey mansion, which began development even before the couple tied the knot, has now become the most expensive celebrity residence in the country, reports Times of India.
According to a report by Business Today, the plush property is valued at a staggering ₹250 crore, surpassing even Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic 'Mannat' (worth ₹200 crore) and Amitabh Bachchan’s 'Jalsa' (worth ₹120 crore).
Photos and videos of the opulent home are making waves on the internet, showing off vine-draped balconies, landscaped gardens, and grand architecture.
Over the past months, Ranbir, Alia, and Neetu Kapoor have been frequently spotted at the site overseeing the progress.
More than just a luxury residence, the mansion is a treasured heritage property of the Kapoor family. Originally home to Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, it was later inherited by Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s. Now, the legacy continues as the property has been registered in the name of Ranbir and Alia’s daughter, Raha Kapoor.
With only a few finishing touches remaining, the couple is expected to move in soon, reportedly choosing an auspicious day for their big move into what is now India’s most expensive celebrity home.
