Dhallywood actress Nusraat Faria was detained at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport en route to Thailand on Sunday afternoon.
She has already been brought to the Vatara Police Station.
Confirming the matter, Vatara Police Station Officer-in-Charge said, "It has not yet been decided whether she will be formally arrested, and if so, under which case."
Nusraat Faria is accused of an attempted murder case. The case was filed against her and 16 other actors for allegedly attempting to murder a student during an anti-discrimination student movement in the capital’s Vatara.
Other accused in the case include -- Apu Biswas, Nipun Akter, Ashna Habib Bhabna, Zayed Khan, Suborna Mustafa, Rokeya Prachy, Sohana Saba, Meher Afroz Shaon, Jyotika Jyoti, Symon Sadik and Azizul Hakim.
