Aaliya Siddiqui, wife of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has opened up about their early life struggles, sharing a touching memory of how Nawazuddin once borrowed Rs 50 to buy her bread and butter—a luxury during their financially strained days.
In a heartfelt interview, Aaliya reflected on the time they lived in a small rented house, with rent covered by Nawazuddin’s brother. Back then, Nawazuddin hadn’t yet achieved stardom, and Aaliya had no income. “He would borrow Rs 50 and get bread and butter because I loved it,” she said. “It was expensive for us, but it meant a lot.”
She remembered how Nawazuddin would surprise her with the meal in the morning, a small but meaningful act of love. She admitted she wasn’t skilled in household chores, and despite their limited means, Nawazuddin took care of everything at home.
Aaliya also revealed that it was Nawazuddin’s “sexy eyes” that first drew her to him. Their love story, once filled with struggle, faced turbulence in recent years. However, the couple announced a reconciliation in 2024.
“I feel the problems we faced were due to a third person. But now that misunderstanding is gone,” Aaliya said. “For our kids, we’ve decided to live peacefully. Nawaz is very close to our daughter, Shora, who was deeply affected. So we knew we couldn’t let things fall apart.”
Their story is a reminder that even in the face of adversity, love and understanding can lead to healing and unity.
