The character poster of actress Tasnia Farin from Sanjoy Somadder’s film Insaaf has been revealed.
Sharing the poster on Facebook, Sanjoy Somadder wrote: "There is no place for roses in the justice of blood."
In the poster, with a bold and intense expression, Farin is pictured holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a blood-soaked axe in the other, surrounded by lifeless bodies, setting the stage for the film's dark and gripping tone.
The director hints at the themes of love and violence in the actress's character in the poster. Director Somadder has mentioned that Insaaf’s script is based on an action-thriller storyline.
He further revealed that the storyline is inspired by a real event, shedding light on certain aspects of Bangladeshi society that are relevant to current times and easily relatable to the audience.
The post-production work for Insaaf is ongoing, with plans to release it during Eid.
The film has been shot in various locations across Bangladesh, including Dhaka, Gazipur, Srimangal, and Kabirpur.
The movie stars actors Mosharraf Karim and Shariful Raj, whose look posters have already been released, featuring the actors holding blood-stained axes in all three posters.
The story and screenplay for Insaaf are written by Nazim Ud Daula. Though Insaaf is Somadder's first film in Bangladesh, it is his second feature film overall. Three years ago, he made his directorial debut in the film industry with Manush, starring popular Kolkata actor Jeet.
