Popular Bangladeshi singer Baby Naznin is set to return to BTV after two decades. The state-run television channel invited her for a special solo music programme, "Priyotomo Ektu Shono," recorded on March 21 as part of its Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
The recording session, held from Friday evening until 4:00 am on Saturday, featured eight songs performed continuously. The setlist included some of her most cherished tracks, such as "Du Chokhe Ghum Ashe Na," "Kal Shara Raat," "Modhuchandrima Ei Raate," "Sara Banglay Khuji Tomare," "Daruno Boroshay Nodi," "Priyotomo Ektu Shono," and "Bondhu Tumi Koi." A regional wedding song, "Khola Hater Baluchore," was also recorded.
To enhance the production, three songs were choreographed separately under the direction of Kabirul Islam Ratan.
Speaking about the programme, Baby Naznin said, "The show features some of the audience’s favourite songs to make Eid celebrations more joyful. The production also carries an artistic touch. Overall, I hope viewers will enjoy it."
