One of the most popular small screen pairs of the time Tawsif Mahmud and Tanjim Saiyara Totini have teamed up for an Eid drama titled “Breaking News”.

Imroz Shaon has directed the drama, scripted by Ishtiaq Ahmed.

The director said about the drama, “The story of ‘Breaking News’ will revolve around a city’s top terrorist Ifti, and the host-reporter of the ‘Crime Watch TV’ programme Maria. The conflict between the terrorist and the journalist will come up in the context of love and defeat.”

Tawsif and Tatini played the roles of terrorist Ifti and crime reporter Maria, respectively, in the drama, with Mukit Zakaria also starring in an important role.

Producer SK Shahed Ali Pappu said that 20 special dramas, including “Breaking News”, will be released under the banner of CMV on Eid-ul-Fitr. These will be continuously released on the company’s YouTube channel from the moon night.
