After a long interval, actor Zahid Hasan has returned to television with a new drama series titled “Vallage Na”. The drama explores how the fear of marriage and family life can become a psychological issue.
The series is currently airing on Boishakhi Television. According to a press release from the channel, Vallage Na has been on air since the first of this month and is airing three days a week – Saturday to Monday – at 8:40 pm. The drama is written by Zakir Hossain Ujjal and directed by Hanif Khan.
The story follows a man named Pulok, whose family is excited about his upcoming wedding. The wedding procession is ready, with band music and festive decorations, but just before the ceremony, news arrives that the bride has run away. This is not the first time Pulok’s wedding has been called off – seven previous attempts have also failed. His family has given up hope of ever seeing him married.
However, while others are disappointed, Pulok secretly feels relieved because, deep down, he dislikes marriage and family life. In fact, he has deliberately sabotaged his own weddings. This twist sets the stage for the drama’s storyline.
Speaking about the drama, Zahid Hasan said, “This drama is based on a unique psychological theme. I hope the audience will enjoy it.”
The cast also includes Sharna lata Debnath, Dr. Ejajul Islam, Syeda Nawshin Islam (Disha), Tanmoy Sohel, Amin Azad, Tariq Swapan, Tabassum Mithila, Sheikh Chandni, Momin Babu, and many others.
