Legendary singer Sabina Yasmin has been away from the stage for over a year. During this long period, the singer was occupied with battling illness and receiving treatment abroad, as her cancer had returned.

After undergoing various treatments and radiotherapy, she has recovered and is now preparing to return to singing.

She has confirmed that she will be performing at several events in Dhaka and Chittagong soon. When asked about the schedule and venues, Sabina Yasmin mentioned that she will perform at two events in Dhaka on January 31 and February 1, and then in Chittagong afterward.

When asked about the time since her last stage performance, Sabina Yasmin mentioned that it has been over a year. She is currently preparing for the events by rehearsing her music.

The singer was first diagnosed with cancer in 2007. After undergoing treatment and recovering, she resumed her normal life and music career. In the subsequent years, she performed both in Bangladesh and internationally, including in the United States and Australia.

News broke about Sabina’s cancer returning in February, 2024. Indian media outlets also picked up the story. She later shared a message with the public, informing themthat she was receiving treatment in Singapore.
