Rafiath Rashid Mithila has joined the popular Korean drama “Descendants of the Sun (DOTS)”, but instead of acting, she will provide the Bengali voice dubbing for a key character in the series.
Korean dramas are booming internationally including a large audience in Bangladesh.Popular dramas are dubbed in Bengali for local audiences, and Mithila will be voicing the character Dr Yoon Myung Joo in "Descendants of the Sun (DOTS)". Khalid Hossain Ovi shared the announcement on his Facebook, "Rafiath Rashid Mithila is joining 'DOTS'. She will voice the strong and determined Dr. Yoo Myung Joo in the much-awaited Bangla version of “Descendants of The Sun”, a role originally played by the internationally acclaimed South Korean actress Kim Ji Won."
The drama “Descendants of the Sun (DOTS)” has enthralled viewers not only with its compelling storyline but also with the remarkable chemistry between the characters played by Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo.
Mithila's most recent appearances were in the movie “Kajol Rekha” and the web series “Myself Allen Swapan”. Her performances in these distinctive roles garnered a great deal of praise.
