The National Consensus Commission (NCC) will begin discussions with political parties on necessary state reforms and national unity on Thursday (March 20).
The first meeting in this series will be held with the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) at 3:00 pm in the LD Hall of the National Parliament, said an NCC press release today (March 19), reports BSS.
The schedules of meetings with other political parties will be announced in phases, the release said.
The commission earlier forwarded reports of different reform commissions to 38 political parties and sought their comments. So far, 15 political parties responded.
With Interim Government's Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus as its President, the NCC began its activities on February 15 to bolster consensus among political parties to ease the state reforms.
