A case has been filed at the police station in Magura over the rape incident of an eight-year-old child. The victim's mother filed the case at the Magura police station on Saturday afternoon.
Victim’s sister's father-in-law Hitu Sheikh, brother-in-laws Sajib Sheikh, and Rasul Sheikh and mother-in-law Zayeda Khatun have been accused in the case.
Magura Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ayub Ali said that the police have taken cognizance of the case filed by the victim's mother at the Magura police station this afternoon. In addition, all four accused have already been arrested.
The eight-year-old girl was raped last Thursday while visiting her sister's house. She was first admitted to Magura Sadar Hospital and later to Faridpur in an unconscious state. She was later referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) as she did not regain consciousness. The child is currently struggling for her life there.
