The Anti-discrimination Student Movement has decided to bring out ‘Bijoy Rally’ on December 16 (Monday) marking the great Victory Day of Bangladesh.
The announcement was made on the verified Facebook page of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement on Sunday.
According to the post, "December 16 is the great Victory Day, the joy of our independence. On the occasion of the great Victory Day, the Anti-Discrimination Students’ Movement is going to held a ‘Bijoy Rally.’ The gathering will be held at 10 am at the Central Shaheed Minar. Everyone is invited.”
Although a discussion meeting was announced on December 14 to mark the occasion of Martyred Intellectuals' Day, it was later postponed citing unavoidable reasons. Although it was announced that the discussion meeting would be held at a later date, the date was not announced yet. The exact reason for the postponement is also not known.
