A selection committee of five members has been formed with Justice Md Rezaul Haque as the president to appoint the chairman and commissioners of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
The Cabinet Division issued a notification on Sunday to form the selection committee.
According to the notification, a selection committee consisting of five members has been constituted as per Section 7 of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2004 to recommend the appointment of the Chairman and Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
The president of the selection committee is Justice Md Rezaul Haque. He is a Judge of Appellate Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court. Other members of the committee are High Court Judge Justice Farah Mahbub, Auditor General and Controller Md Nurul Islam, Bangladesh Public Service Commission Chairman Professor Dr Mobashwer Monem, retired Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain.
