The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has temporarily suspended new registrations for the MRT Pass, the dedicated card for traveling on the high-speed metro rail. Additionally, the renewal of damaged cards has also been halted.
This information was shared on the verified Facebook page of DMTCL today, Friday, at 6:30 PM.
It was stated that, due to unforeseen circumstances, card registration and reissuance services will be suspended until November 7. We sincerely apologize for the temporary inconvenience.
Currently, the metro rail operates from Saturday to Thursday, running from 7:10 AM to 9:40 PM.
On Fridays, it operates from 3:30 PM to 9:40 PM.
