NID server to be closed for 48hrs

NID (National Identity) card server of National Election Commission (EC) will be closed for next 48 hours due to maintenance works.

During this time, other activities related to the server will also to closed.

EC system analyst Akteruzzaman issued a letter in this regard On Thursday.

According to the letter, from Thursday 7 pm to Saturday (October 19) 7 pm, a total of 48 hours will be closed for the maintenance of the Election Commission data center, so that all related to the Card Management System (CMS), Citizen Portal, Registration of Expatriate Citizens and Call Center (Information Services) will be off. Civil services will also be closed.

However, organizations that have contracted with EC will receive limited services at this time.
