Nominations of all candidates for women's seats valid: EC

The Election Commission on Monday declared all the nomination papers submitted for the 50 reserved seats for women in the 12th Jatiya Sangsad as valid. 

Returning Officer Muniruzzaman Talukdar made the announcement after scrutiny in the presence of the candidates at the election building in the capital’s Agargaon.

According to the election schedule, the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers is 25 February and the polling date is 14 March.
