Health and Family Welfare Minister Professor Dr Samanta Lal Sen on Saturday urged doctors and health workers at different levels of public-run hospitals and health complexes to provide medical services to the people, reports BSS.
"I have given charge as a health minister to serve the people . . . I will discharge my duties with utmost sincerity and dedication overcoming all types of obstacles," he told a meeting with healthcare professionals at divisional, district levels at Cox's Bazar, an official release said.
In another meeting with teachers and students of Cox's Bazar, the health minister called upon students to pay attention on their studies for becoming good medical professionals.
"Right now, Bangladesh needs to improve total improvement of health sector. We have to work collectively to create skilled healthcare professionals to achieve the goal," he added.
