64 gold bars recovered at Shah Amanat Airport

Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) recovered 64 gold bars at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Friday night.

CIID Assistant Director Abdul Motin Talukdar said a total of 64 gold bars seized the consignment which was wrapped in black tape hidden inside an empty seat of a Oman Air flight WY-311 in an abounded state that came from Dubai around 8.48 pm, reports BSS.

The value of the seized gold bars weighing about 7.5 kiilogram is around Taka six crore.
