Awami League a successful party waging movement: Minister

Agriculture Minister and Awami League Presidium Member Dr Abdur Razzak on Monday said Awami League is a successful party waging a movement on the streets as successful to run the country.

He made the remarks while speaking at a discussion and dua mahfil at the Uttara Friends Club field in the capital marking National Mourning Day.

The agriculture minister alleged that the BNP-Jamaat nexus is trying to foil the next national election. They want to create anarchy and destabilize the country like 2014 and 2018. Awami League leaders and activists will have to resist them unitedly.

Lawmaker Mohammad Habib Hasan chaired the function while Dhaka North City Awami League President Sheikh Bazlur Rahman and General Secretary S M Mannan Kachi, among others, spoke at the event.
