BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir hoped that good time and democracy will come back to the country one day.
He made the hope while visiting Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) injured leader Md Sraban at a city hospital on Thursday.
While giving consolation to the mother of Sraban, Fakhrul said, “Your son was injured in the movement to bring back democracy. His blood will not be in vain.”
Dr Rafiqul Islam and BNP media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan were present at that time.
Earlier on September 4, BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas along with Kishoreganj BNP joint general secretary Khaled Saifullah (VP Sohel) visited wounded Sraban at the hospital.
On September 3, JCD leader Srabon sustained critical injuries in police firing at a rally of BNP at Pakundia Upazila in Kishoreganj.
