Bangladesh on Thursday reported one Covid-19 death in 24 hours while it recorded 388 new coronavirus-positive cases during the period, reports UNB.
According to the latest statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the country's total fatalities rose to 29,330 and caseload to 2,014,077.
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 7.40 per cent from Wednesday's 6.94 per cent as 5,241 samples were tested.
The deceased was a woman from Dhaka division.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.46 per cent while the recovery rate dropped to 97.22 per cent.
