Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours.
"Light to moderate rain or showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Saturday recorded 35.8 degree Celsius in Mongla, while minimum temperature was 24.0 degree Celsius in Rangamati.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 116mm in Sylhet. The sun sets at 6:14 pm Sunday and rises at 5:41 am Monday in the capital.
