According to the latest weather bulletin of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country
Meanwhile, a mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Jashore and Chuadanga and it may abate.
The day and the night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga and the minimum temperature was 24 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda.
The met office said the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours (Till 6 am Saturday) was recorded at 109mm in Sitakunda.
The sun sets at 6:15 pm today (Saturday) and rises at 5:41 am tomorrow (Sunday) in Dhaka.
