Supporters of pro-Iran armed groups assaulted the offices of a Saudi television channel after the broadcaster labeled Iran-backed commanders as "terrorists'' in Baghdad early Saturday,," according to a security source, reports AFP.
The attack involved between 400 and 500 individuals who targeted the MBC studios shortly after midnight. An interior ministry source, speaking to AFP on the condition of anonymity, reported that the assailants damaged electronic equipment and computers and set part of the building on fire. The fire was subsequently put out, and police intervened to disperse the crowd.
