The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for companies to submit their income tax returns by one month, setting a new submission date of April 15, reports BSS.
The extension applies to the 2025–26 tax year, according to an official notification issued by the revenue authority on Sunday.
The decision was taken following formal requests from various business sectors seeking additional time to complete the mandatory filing process.
Under the previous schedule, the deadline for corporate taxpayers to submit their returns was set to expire on March 15.
Officials said the extension would allow companies more time to prepare and submit accurate financial information as part of their annual tax compliance requirements.
