Remittance inflows to Bangladesh grew by 51.7 percent year-on-year, reaching $1,738 million in the first ten days of March, reports the BSS.
The latest data released by the Bangladesh Bank showed that expatriate Bangladeshis sent significantly higher remittances compared to the same period last year.
During the corresponding period in 2025, the country received $1,145 million in remittances.
Meanwhile, from July to March 10 of the current fiscal year 2025–26, total remittance inflows stood at $24,191 million.
During the same period of the previous fiscal year, remittances amounted to $19,635 million, according to the central bank data.
