Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that there will be revolutionary changes in the country's stock market and economy in the future.
The minister said, “The government has various plans to recover laundered money. Patronage politics will no longer continue in the country. The next budget will not be a traditional budget. The country will walk on the path of economic recovery. Revolutionary changes will happen in the country's stock market and economy.”
He said this while talking to reporters in Chattogram on Friday (February 20) morning.
He said, “Now is the time to make Chattogram a real commercial capital. Chattogram will be made a commercial capital through investment. There are many big investment issues here, and we have to go in that direction. The port's activities must be further improved. Investment must be increased; employment must be increased.”
Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury also said, “There are many plans. These cannot be said in one word. However, the biggest problem in the country is employment. The government will walk on that path in which the people will benefit from the economy. We want to free the economy.”
