Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 24.6 percent reaching $1,970 million in the first 17 days of February, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued on Wednesday, reports BSS.
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,581 million.
During July to February 17, 2026 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $21,403 million, which was $17,543 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
