The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) will announce its decision this afternoon on whether the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will increase or decrease for the month of February.
The announcement will be made at a press conference scheduled for 3:00pm on Monday.
According to BERC, the press conference will be held at the commission’s hearing room on the sixth floor of the Shaheed Engineer Building of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) in Ramna.
BERC disclosed the information in a press release issued on Sunday . The release stated that the commission’s order regarding the adjustment of consumer-level prices of privately marketed LPG for February 2026, in line with the Saudi CP (Contract Price) announced by Saudi Aramco, will be declared on Monday.
The commission also noted that the official order related to the LPG price announcement will be available on BERC’s website (www.berc.org.bd).
Earlier, LPG prices were increased in January. On January 4, BERC raised the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder by Tk53, setting the new price at Tk1,306. At the same time, the price of autogas was increased by Tk2.48 per litre, from Tk57.32 to Tk59.80.
