The 25th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show (DIFS) 2026– Winter Edition, held alongside the 8th Dhaka International Denim Show 2026, concluded successfully at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) on Saturday (30 Jan), highlighting Bangladesh’s growing strength in the global textile and apparel industry, reports Daily Sun.
Jointly organized by CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-TEX, the four-day exhibition ran from 28-31 January, marking the 25th anniversary of Bangladesh’s longest-running B2B yarn and fabric sourcing platform.
The twin shows featured more than 650 booths, with nearly 325 companies from over 15 countries showcasing innovations in yarn, fabric, denim, textile technology, and sustainable sourcing.
The exhibition was inaugurated on 28 January at ICCB by industry leaders and government officials, including representatives from the Ministry of Textile and Jute, the Ministry of Industries, BGMEA, and the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, said a press release.
Two thematic seminars were also held during the event, focusing on investment opportunities in Bangladesh and the importance of MICE tourism, underscoring the country’s potential as both a global sourcing hub and a destination for event-led business tourism.
Organisers said the successful completion of DIFS 2026 further reinforced Bangladesh’s position in the global textile value chain while enhancing its appeal to international investors and business visitors.
