The month-long 30th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF)-2026 has begun at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal.
Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin inaugurated the trade fair on Saturday morning.
The Commerce Adviser said the 30th Dhaka International Trade Fair is a major milestone for the country’s trade and business sector.
He noted that the fair is not just about displaying products, but also about highlighting Bangladesh’s new businesses, innovations and overall progress in commerce.
Bashir Uddin also said Bangladesh is now an important player in global trade. He explained that the fair aims to improve and diversify export products, help businesses enter new international markets, strengthen trade connections, boost economic diplomacy and expand international cooperation.
The fair also works to build a positive image of Bangladesh abroad and attract foreign investment to support sustainable economic growth.
