A fire broke out at Love Leen restaurant in Dhaka's Uttara on Friday morning, prompting a rapid response from the Fire Service. The blaze started at 10:45 AM, and the fire service received the first report of the incident at 10:38 AM.
Nine firefighting units from Uttara, Tongi, Baridhara, Kurmitola, and Siddiq Bazar were deployed to contain the fire, which had spread to the second floor of the six-story building. As the building filled with smoke, several people were trapped on the ground floor. Firefighters rescued six individuals, and authorities are continuing efforts to control the fire.
Fire Service Media Cell Officer Anarul Islam Dolon confirmed that 9 units were working at the scene, with the fire not yet under control. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and assessments of the damage are underway.
