In a recent exchange on X (formerly Twitter), Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Quora CEO Adam D’Angelo discussed the performance of Google Meet, drawing attention from Elon Musk.
Adam D’Angelo shared that Quora had tested Google Meet as an alternative to Zoom but encountered issues with audio quality, particularly background noise cancellation and echoing. He noted that while Google Meet had several advantages, these audio issues led them to continue using Zoom.
Sundar Pichai responded directly, expressing surprise at the feedback and stating he would follow up offline to investigate and address the issue. He emphasized that, based on his experience and feedback from others, Google Meet's audio quality is typically reliable.
Elon Musk commented on the interaction, highlighting the significance of such discussions occurring on X. He remarked, "The smartest & most influential people in the world interact on X!"
This exchange underscores the collaborative nature of the tech industry, where leaders openly discuss and address product feedback in public forums.
