Samsung Electronics, in collaboration with Google, has unveiled Eclipsa Audio, a groundbreaking 3D audio technology designed to redefine home entertainment. This innovative technology will be featured across Samsung’s 2025 TV and soundbar lineup, including models from the Crystal UHD series to the premium Neo QLED 8K range, Samsung stated this on Friday.
Eclipsa Audio enables creators to craft immersive, three-dimensional soundscapes by fine-tuning audio elements like location, intensity, and spatial reflections. Paired with Samsung’s state-of-the-art displays, this technology promises consumers a captivating blend of audio and visual excellence.

Starting in 2025, creators will be able to upload videos with Eclipsa Audio tracks to YouTube, offering viewers enhanced spatial audio experiences on compatible Samsung devices. To maintain audio quality, Samsung and Google are collaborating with the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) to develop a certification program for Eclipsa Audio-enabled devices.
