Cricketers’ Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) president Mohammad Mithun said on Saturday that the players’ body will meet with club officials on Sunday to discuss the recent boycott of the club cricket by several Dhaka-based organisers, reports the Daily Sun.
Mithun confirmed the meeting while speaking to the media.
"We were trying to sit with the club organizers for a while. Finally, they agreed to meet with up tomorrow," he said.
Earlier, a number of prominent clubs announced they would not participate in the upcoming domestic season, alleging a lack of transparency in the recently concluded BCB election process.
