Thirteen members of the Bangladesh cricket team have reached Dubai in two groups for a three-match ODI series against Afghanistan, starting on November 6.
However, with the series just two days away, left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed and fast bowler Nahid Rana have yet to receive their visas for Dubai.
A source from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed this.
He stated, "They haven't received their visas yet. We expect them to get their visas today, and they will fly to Dubai as soon as they receive them."
Nasum, who is returning to the national team after nearly a year, was busy playing in the National Cricket League (NCL) in Bogra. On the night the squad was announced, he returned to Dhaka from Bogra and is currently staying at the BCB Academy building.
Meanwhile, Nahid Rana, who has been called up to the ODI squad for the first time, is also at the Academy building. He debuted for the national team in Test cricket but is now awaiting his chance to play in the white-ball format.
In the first group, nine players flew to Dubai on Saturday, followed by four more on Sunday.
Bangladesh will face Afghanistan in Sharjah for the three ODIs respectively on 6, 9, and 11 November.
