As the festive season of Eid-ul-Fitr approaches, the Bangladeshi film industry is gearing up for several highly anticipated releases. Alongside leading male stars, a number of talented actresses are set to captivate audiences with diverse and exciting roles on the big screen this Eid.
Tasnia Farin
Popular actress Tasnia Farin is preparing for one of the biggest projects of her career with the film “Prince.” In the action-packed movie, she stars opposite Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan. Directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud, the film also features Tollywood actress Jyotirmoyee Kundu in another female lead role. “Prince” is expected to be one of the major attractions of this Eid season.
Shobnom Bubly
One of the most popular heroines in recent years, Bubly is set to appear in director Raihan Rafi’s female-centric film “Pressure Cooker.” Known for portraying strong characters, Bubly is expected to deliver another impactful performance in the project. She will also be seen in the upcoming film “Pinik,” scheduled for release in Eid, where she will star opposite actor Ador Azad.
Nazifa Tushi
Nazifa Tushi will also appear in “Pressure Cooker,” sharing the screen with Bubly. The film features a strong ensemble cast including Mariya Hossain Mehnati and Snighda Chowdhury, and is expected to present a compelling story centered on female experiences and perspectives.
Puja Cherry Roy

Following the audience appreciation she received for her performance in the film “Taandob,” Sabila Nur is set to appear again on the big screen this Eid with “Bonolota Express.” Directed by Tanim Noor, the film boasts a star-studded cast including Mosharraf Karim, Sariful Razz, Azmeri Haque Badhon and Zakia Bari Mamo. Sabila plays the lead role of Chitra in the film, which is based on the novel “Kichhukkhon” by celebrated writer Humayun Ahmed.
Susmita Chatterjee
Tollywood actress Susmita Chatterjee will make her presence felt in the Eid release “Rakkhosh,” where she stars opposite Bangladeshi actor Siam Ahmed. The film is expected to bring an interesting cross-border collaboration to the big screen.
