One of the most talked-about songs of last year was “Moyna.” Following its success, Gaanchill Music is coming up with a new musical film titled “O Jaan.”
The project is the second collaboration of the Moyna team, this time with a bigger arrangement and more aesthetically rich visuals.
As before, the song is sung by Konal and Niloy, with lyrics penned by Asif Iqbal. The tune, however, brings a new flavour-it has been jointly composed by Avral Sahir from Dhaka and Lincoln from Kolkata.
Two popular faces of the showbiz industry, Sunerah Binte Kamal and Farrukh Ahmed Rehan, have teamed up for the first time as models in this musical film. Taneem Rahman Angshu is once again in charge of the production.
The shooting recently took place in the beautiful location of Jomsom in Nepal.
Jomsom, a picturesque town in Nepal's Mustang district, sits at 2,760 meters above sea level. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the Kali Gandaki River, it’s known for its serene beauty and frequent snowfall, making it a popular spot for Bollywood film shoots.
Sharing his experience, actor Rehan said, “Shooting cinematically in a place like Nepal is extraordinary in one word. The combination of the visuals with the lyrics is not usually seen in music videos. By watching ‘O Jaan,’ the audience will not only enjoy the song but also experience the beauty of Nepal.”
The much-awaited musical film will be released on Gaanchill Music’s YouTube channel on 30 January.
