After completing the shooting of his upcoming movie "Andhar", popular Dhallywood actor Siam Ahmed is gearing up for another anticipated film titled "Rakkhoss".
For weeks, speculation surrounded the project, particularly about who would be cast as the heroine. Names like Dighi and Sabila Nur were widely discussed, but the makers took their time finalising the decision.
Now, putting an end to all the rumours, a source close to the production has confirmed that Kolkata actress Idhika Paul will play the female lead.
The contract with Idhika is expected to be signed this week. If all goes according to plan, "Rakkhoss" will mark the first on-screen collaboration between Siam Ahmed and Idhika Paul, a pairing that has already sparked excitement among fans.
Meanwhile, Idhika became a familiar face to Bangladeshi audience through Shakib Khan's blockbuster film "Priyotoma".
Her performance and charming screen presence quickly drew attention. She later shared the screen with Shakib Khan again in "Barbaad", and also starred opposite Shariful Raz in "Kobi".
Beyond Dhallywood, Idhika has strengthened her foothold in Tollywood with notable performances opposite Dev in the films "Khadan" and "Raghu Dakat".
Meanwhile Siam recent "Jongly", released during Eid-ul-Fitr, saw him paired with Shobnom Bubly. Since his debut in "Poramon 2", Siam has showcased versatility across commercial,action, and content-driven films. His surprising cameo in Shakib Khan's Eid-ul-Azha release "Tandoob" drew widespread praise, and his upcoming appearance in "Andhar", opposite Nazifa Tushi, has further heightened anticipation.
With "Rakkhoss" bringing together Siam and Idhika for the first time, industry insiders and fans alike are eager to see how the new duo lights up the screen.
