Actress Mehazabein gets bail upon surrender

Actress Mehazabein gets bail upon surrender

A Dhaka court on Sunday granted bail to popular actress Mehazabien Chowdhury and her brother Alisan Chowdhury in a case over embezzlement of Tk 27 lakh.        

Judge of the Dhaka Executive Magistrate Court-3 Afroza Haque Tania granted bail when she along with her brother surrendered before the court, said Mehazabein’s lawyer Tuhin Hawladar. 

Earlier in the day, a Dhaka court issued warrants for their arrest.
