Pakistani actor Hania Aamir sparked attention during her Dhaka visit a few months ago when she said she would choose Shakib Khan over Shah Rukh Khan as her favourite hero. Since then, rumours have been swirling that she might pair up with the Bangladeshi superstar in his next film. Now, Shakib himself has added fuel to the speculation.
Recently, Shakib Khan inaugurated showroom of a brand in Banani, where content creator ‘RafsanThe Chotobhai’, filmed a vlog.
The video, later shared on Rafsan’s YouTube channel, captured Shakib hinting at a possible collaboration with Hania Aamir.
In the vlog, Shakib is heard telling Rafsan, “I have seen many of your vlogs with my future heroine, Hania.”
Someone accompanying Shakib then asked whether Hania Aamir would indeed be acting with him. In response, Shakib confirmed, “Yes, there is talk of a movie.” However, he refrained from sharing further details.
Meanwhile, two of Shakib’s upcoming projects are already in the spotlight. One is “Soldier”, where Tanjin Tisha stars opposite him. “The other is Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka”, with Tasnia Farin reportedly cast as the female lead. Indian media outlet Anandabazar has also reported that a Kolkata-based actress may join the film.
Hania Aamir rose to fame with the Pakistani TV serial “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum” last year. She has also made her Bollywood debut in “Sardaarji 3”, further boosting her international popularity.
