Video content creator Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam has been arrested in a case filed by his wife Ria Moni.
He was arrested on Saturday afternoon.
Mohammad Raju, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Hatirjheel Police Station in the capital, confirmed this to the media.
Earlier, on Wednesday, the court of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Wahiduzzaman issued an arrest warrant against Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam. In that context, the police arrested him today.
Incidentally, on June 23, his wife Ria Moni filed the case at the Hatirjheel Police Station in the capital on charges of attempted murder, assault and intimidation. Along with Hero Alam, a person named Ahsan Habib Selim has been named as an accused in this case. The court has also issued an arrest warrant against him.
