A new web series titled “Eta Amaderi Golpo”, written and directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, brings heartfelt family stories to the screen.
The star-studded cast includes Irfan Sajjad, Keya Payel, Khairul Basar, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Intekhab Dinar, Deepa Khandaker, Monira Akhter Mithu, Nader Chowdhury, and Shilpi Sarkar Apu.
The show will premiere on November 5, with new episodes releasing every Wednesday and Thursday at 12:00pm on the Cinemawala YouTube channel.
In the series, Irfan Sajjad plays Fahad, while Khairul Basar portrays his brother Sami. Keya Payel appears as Mehreen, and Sunerah Binte Kamal takes on the role of Saira. Following the release of its trailer and teaser clips, the series has already garnered significant attention from viewers.
Speaking about the project, director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz shared, “The main strength of our society is family. I believe stories centered on family always leave a deep mark on people’s hearts. That’s why we chose the tagline, ‘Family begins, family ends.’ Through this story, we’ve tried to portray family bonds, love, conflict, and compassion; elements that reflect pieces of real life.”
The series was filmed at a shooting house in Uttara, Dhaka, and at a resort in Savar.
Music also plays a key role in “Eta Amaderi Golpo.” Three original songs have been made for the show. The title track, composed and sung by Arfin Rumey, features Dola Rahman as a duet vocalist, with lyrics by Mahmud Manzoor.
Another song, “Shey Manale,” has been performed, composed, and arranged by Shahriar Marcel, with lyrics written by Tariq Tuhin. Meanwhile, Pratyay Khan and Sushmita lend their voices to “Jani Na,” composed by Pratyay and written by Siam Sarkar.
With its emotional storytelling, relatable characters, and heartfelt music, “Eta Amaderi Golpo” aims to remind viewers of one timeless truth — that every story, in the end, begins and ends with family.
