BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, “The victims of the July Revolution, both killed and injured, seek justice. Those who shot innocent children like Ahnaf have the souls of bloodthirsty wolves. For Sheikh Hasina, women and children have no value; the only value she recognizes is the throne. She has no idea how many people have lost their children. To her, shooting was a game, and crossfire was a source of enjoyment. She was pleased to see the bodies of the opposition. She is a mentally sick woman.”
He made these remarks while distributing financial aid to disabled rickshaw pullers in front of the party office in Paltan, Dhaka, on Thursday afternoon.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, "Criminals are wreaking havoc in various parts of Dhaka, yet we see no action from law enforcement. Those who killed Ahnaf, Abu Sayed, and Mugdho are people of the law. Why are they being shielded from justice? All those involved must be held accountable."
Referring to Sheikh Hasina's daughter, Saima Wazed Putul, he said, "A deceptive leader, when in power, turns their children into deceivers as well. Sheikh Hasina is a prime example of this."
Regarding the Awami League's program, the senior BNP leader said, "Calling for a strike and expecting people to jump at it won't happen. People are waiting for you to face justice."
Referring to Salman F Rahman, he said, "He destroyed the banks and the stock market. Now, he wants to rise from his own ashes. The current situation has been created due to the government's lax management. If he is held accountable, people will understand that the government is taking action."
