Country’s lowest temperature of 8.7 degrees Celsius was recorded in Chuadanga district on Saturday morning amid mild to moderate cold wave sweeping parts of the country, reports UNB.
Jaminur Rahman, acting in-charge of Chuadanga Weather Observatory Center stated that they have recorded 8.7 degrees Celsius at 9 am on Saturday.
He also said that the temperature might drop further.
The shivering cold disrupted the normal life of people, especially the daily wage earners in the district.
The sun remains invisible till 12 pm.
People are being forced to remain indoors due to the cold.
